September Sunflower
Morganna gave me a sunflower as a gift shortly before we left Lancaster. It spent the summer guzzling water and either sulking in the heat or sulking in the shade, but last week it begain to form a nobble (technical gardening term, y'know) on top. Over the course of the next few days, the nobble became a flower. Photos under the cut. They're rather large, sadly. Hosted by Photobucket, so if they fall over suddenly, blame my lack of webspace.
